The heavily armored Fane Knights are the cult’s ancient and traditional fighting forces, established centuries ago following the foundation of Eversael. Born from the priesthood’s deep suspicion of the second Dawnguard—whom they have always viewed as faithless upstarts—the Knights' loyalty to the Fane is absolute. After fighting to the death in defense of their city, the survivors followed their masters into the catacombs beneath the ruins, slowly reinforcing their ranks over the centuries by recruiting newly created eldritch seeking a meaningful path to advancement.
